已知吸烟与多种疾病有关。是引起心血管疾病和肺癌的主要病因之一。美国大约有320万高中生吸烟,而且每天约有3000名青春期学生开始吸烟。本研究的目的在于用在人口统计学及其它因素之中具有明显相互作用的统计学模式,对与青少年吸烟习惯形成有关的多种因素进行复相关分析。研究对象为佛罗里达州中西部两所农村学校1988年12月登记在册的10～12年级高中生,共2425名。对每名作为观察对象学生的吸烟史进行编码管理。对其中资料完整的2212名学生(占全部被观察学生的91.2%)进行评
Smoking is known to be associated with a variety of illnesses. Is one of the major causes of cardiovascular disease and lung cancer. About 3.2 million U.S. high school students smoke in the United States, and about 3,000 adolescent students start smoking each day. The purpose of this study was to perform a co-correlation analysis of various factors related to the formation of smoking habits among adolescents using statistical models that have significant interactions among demographics and other factors. A total of 2425 high school students were enrolled in December 1988 for two rural schools in central and western Florida. Cigarette smoking history was administered to each student as an observer.
