大学英语教学改革正在兴起,其改革的基本方向是由EGP(基础英语教学)向ESP(专业英语教学)发展。为了适应新时代发展的需要,很多高校尝试改革大学英语课程设置,增设以能力培养为主的应用性课程,“科技英语翻译”课程应运而生。本文尝试从教学理念、翻译理论与方法以及学生自主学习能力等方面探讨了高校“科技英语翻译”课程的教学策略。
College English teaching reform is on the rise, the basic direction of its reform from EGP (Basic English Teaching) to ESP (Professional English Teaching) development. In order to meet the needs of the development of the new era, many colleges and universities try to reform the college English curriculum and set up an application-oriented curriculum based on ability cultivation. The “Science English Translation” course has come into being. This paper attempts to explore the teaching strategies of “S & T English Translation” in colleges and universities in terms of teaching concepts, translation theories and methods, and students’ autonomous learning ability.
