福田区作为深圳市的中心城区,社会对区域教育的关注已从“有学上”转移到了“上好学”。但什么样的学校是好学校?这是区域基础教育决策层必须面对且必须回答的关键问题。福田区教育局从2008年就开展了“建构福田区义务教育质量监测体系的研究”的专项研究;2011年福田区政府将“构建区域基础教育质量监测机制”纳入了区政府的工作计划,为使工作有效推进,成立了广东省首家“区级基础教育质量监测中心”。
