中国出口爆炸式的增长已经成为世界关注的焦点。本文基于多产品企业异质性贸易模型框架,利用2000—2005年的中国海关数据库刻画中国多产品出口企业的特征事实,进一步采用扩展的引力模型考察贸易成本对多产品企业出口增长的二元边际影响因素。结果表明,多产品出口企业主导了中国的出口增长,贸易成本对二元边际的影响以扩展边际为主,而对企业内二元边际都有显著负向影响。因此本文的政策含义在于,中国的出口增长路径必须由集约边际尽快转向扩展边际,同时,出口激励措施的制定应更多着眼于降低市场进入成本,为企业进入出口市场提供更便捷的通道。
The explosive growth of China’s exports has become the focus of attention in the world. Based on the heterogeneous trade model framework of multi-product enterprises, this paper uses the China Customs database from 2000 to 2005 to characterize the characteristics of China’s multi-product exporters and further uses the extended model of gravity to examine the binary marginal of trade costs to multi-product export growth Influencing factors. The results show that multi-product export enterprises dominate the growth of China’s exports. The impact of trade costs on the dual margins is mainly marginal expansion, while it has a significant negative impact on the dual marginalization of the enterprises. Therefore, the policy implication of this article is that China’s path of export growth must shift from the intensive margin to the expansion margin as soon as possible. At the same time, the formulation of export incentive measures should focus more on reducing the market entry cost and providing more convenient access for enterprises to export markets.
