三月九日至十一日省教育厅在南京举行全省普通话教学成绩观摩会,交流和检查评比全省中小学、师范学校学习和推广普通话成绩。出席这次观摩会的六十六名代表是去年九月份以来,全省各市、县、乡、校层层举行观摩选拔出来的。省教育厅副厅长薛守固同志出席了开幕式并讲了话。他强调指出:各级各类学校要把普通话作为统一的教学用语,把“能够努力使用普通话教学”作为合格教师的标准之一,
From March 9 to March 11, the Provincial Department of Education held a demonstration tour of Putonghua teaching achievement in Nanjing to exchange and check appraisals of the province's primary and secondary schools and normal schools to learn and promote Putonghua results. Sixty-six delegates attending the observatory were selected from different levels of cities, counties, townships and schools in the province since September last year. Xue Shugu, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Education, attended the opening ceremony and made a speech. He emphasized that schools in all kinds of schools at all levels should regard Putonghua as a unified teaching language and regard “teaching hard to use Putonghua” as one of the criteria for qualified teachers.
