The newly-prepared “Design and Construction Rules for Industrial Plant Wallboard” (JGJ2-79) has been approved by the State Administration of Construction Engineering and began trial operation in January 1980. According to the requirements of the National Construction Committee and the needs of the nationwide reform of the wall, the design, construction, research, and higher levels of the system of the National Construction Commission, the Ministry of Mines, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Railways, and the Ministry of Metallurgy of the National Institute of Iron and Steel Design and Research in Beijing and Beijing Iron and Steel Design Institute are all included.
