Beauty painting occupies an important position in the Chinese traditional portraits of the Chinese characters. After its initial enlightenment and aesthetic function, its main objects of realization have been developed into the painting form with pure appreciation of the nature until the Qing Dynasty. This article will elaborate the origins of the development and historical development of the painting through the outstanding performance of ladies’ paintings in different historical periods. As early as the Warring States Period, the early art form of Chinese painting was already available. Then, with the changing of the times and the constant updating of the cultures in different periods, the content, style and expression of Chinese paintings were continuously updated.
