春节之后,邀请了几位党支部书记一堆儿聊天,想听听基层同志在工作中遇到的难点、热点。刚一开头儿,大家就把话题扯到了讲党课上。有的说:“现在的党员要求高。上党课,光学文件念材料不行,讲不出个子丑寅卯也不行。”有的说:“一个单位的党员总听书记一人讲,老腔调老思想,听的人没情绪,讲的人也不带劲。”末了儿,大家的目光集中在我身上:“你是《支部生活》的记者,见多识广,能不能给我们介绍点儿讲党课的高招儿、新招儿?”于是,我现趸现卖,给他们讲了北京城建集团四公司党委开展“党课擂台赛”的做法,引起大家的浓厚兴趣。
