以片上系统(SoC)为代表的嵌入式应用系统拉开了嵌入式系统发展的大幕,极大的推动了IT产业的发展,给人们的生产、生活带来深远的影响。嵌入式系统用在一些特定专用设备上,通常这些设备的硬件资源(如处理器、存储器等)非常有限,而且对成本敏感,有时对实时性要求较高等。常见的嵌入式系统如手机、PDA、电子词典、掌上电脑、VCD/DVD/MP3 Player、数码相机、游戏机、机顶盒、路由器等,这类嵌入式应用系统对成本比较敏感。还有一些对性能和实时性要求比较高,如通信系统,医疗仪器,航空航天设备以及军事武器上的一些嵌入式应用系统。
The embedded application system represented by system on chip (SoC) has opened the curtain of the development of embedded system and greatly promoted the development of IT industry, bringing far-reaching impact on people’s production and life. Embedded systems are used on a few specialized devices, which typically have very limited hardware resources (such as processors, memory, etc.), are cost-sensitive, and sometimes require real-time performance. Common embedded systems such as mobile phones, PDAs, electronic dictionaries, handheld computers, VCD / DVD / MP3 Player, digital cameras, game consoles, set-top boxes, routers and other embedded applications such systems are more cost-sensitive. There are also some requirements for performance and real-time high, such as communications systems, medical equipment, aerospace equipment, and some embedded applications on military weapons.
