59年,我们一建派了五名架子工到北京参加人民大会堂建设,加上二建五个人,组成旅大架子工班,由我担任班长。人民大会堂的建筑规模宏大,每次绑架子常常几个地区的架子班排成一排,互相比赛。我们大连架子工班在比赛中一般总是名列前茅。当时,人们都有一种互助精神,我们自己干完了,又主动帮助兄弟单位。
