The 12th Basic Space Science Symposium co-hosted by the United Nations and the European Space Agency was held in Beijing on May 24-28. At the invitation of the United Nations, nearly 100 representatives from 29 countries including Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Russia, South Africa and the United States attended the meeting.
