经络理论在中医理论中占有重要地位。经络是遍布人体全身的完整系统。通过气血在经络中的运行联系脏腑、体表和肢体,沟通内外上下,调整体内通路,使人体成为完整的统一生命系统,经络功能存在则人体生命存在;经络功能消失则人体生命消失。在医学上死亡是指心、脑死亡。即超出了临床死亡期进入生物学死亡期时即为死亡。其实,此时的人体内脏、肢体等未病变的器官仍然是活体,再经过一段不太短的时间之后,才逐渐分别坏死。
