The lower Triassic in the Kuqa Depression is a delta and lacustrine sediments. The fan delta and braided river delta developed in the north margin are the main types of sedimentary facies in this area. The fan delta deposits are characterized by the coexistence of gravity flow and traction deposition due to sudden catastrophic events. The former dominated by massive conglomerate of debris flow, the latter is fan-shaped channel sand body, mostly lenticular distribution in gravity flow sediments; braided river delta deposition with normal traction especially river sediments Mainly, the sand body is stratified, lateral plot staggered layer development. The two are interconnected with each other in their own system, forming two closely related evolution stages controlled by the intensity and duration of fault activity along the marginal continental margin.
