广深铁路股份有限公司(前身为广深铁路总公司)成立于1984年1月1日,是全国第一家实行“自主经营、自负盈亏、自我发展、自我约束”的铁路运输企业。主要经营广州至深圳、香港九龙间客货运输及服务,其管辖经营的广深铁路穿行在经济高速发展的珠江三角洲腹地,并与京广、京九、广茂、广梅汕、平南、平盐和香港铁路相联,是中国目前现代化程度最高的铁路,也是珠江三角洲区域经济发展的重要基础设施,更是中国内地与香港交往的陆路交通要道。
Guangshen Railway Co., Ltd.
