在英语教学中,词汇教学是最基础的环节。由于英语和中文的文化差异,在学习英语词汇时,不仅要掌握词汇的意思,有时还要了解词汇背后的文化背景。本文从文化导入的发展及重要性说起,分析词汇中国中西方文化的差异,最后给出文化导入的一些建议。旨在唤起英语教师探索英语词汇教学中文化因素的积极性,从而提高英语词汇教学的效率,对英语词汇教学做出一点贡献。
In English teaching, vocabulary teaching is the most basic part. Due to the cultural differences between English and Chinese, learning English vocabulary should not only grasp the meaning of the vocabulary, but also sometimes understand the cultural background behind the vocabulary. Starting from the development and importance of cultural introduction, this article analyzes the differences between Chinese and western cultures in terms of vocabulary and gives some suggestions on cultural introduction. It aims to arouse the enthusiasm of English teachers to explore the cultural factors in English vocabulary teaching so as to improve the efficiency of English vocabulary teaching and make some contribution to English vocabulary teaching.
