As one of the largest family of transcriptional regulators of signal dependence, the Ets gene family plays an important role in cell development and differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis, hematopoiesis, angiogenesis and tissue remodeling. Ets gene abnormalities can lead to malignant transformation of cells and the development of tumors, so they may become potential molecular targets for gene therapy of tumors.
