2004年5月16日《北京晚报》第10版《张思德上银幕》一文说:“60年前的9月5日,在抗日战争后期的延安,勤务兵张思德在一次烧炭事故中光荣牺牲。张思德参军十几年,经过了二万五千里长征,但仍然只是一个勤务兵。”
