在经济高速发展的现代社会,全球化趋势已越来越明显,随之而来的便是多元文化的交流与融合。进入21世纪之交的中国与其他国家的交流日益频繁,多元文化也基于此产生,因此,多元文化的概念逐渐被更多生活及生产领域所熟知,多元文化下对于学生的英语教育也就随之有所变化,故而提升初中英语教育水平就成为当前极为重要的话题。但是随着时代的不断发展,多元文化下的英语教育如何与大趋势的全球文化形势相适应则是我们极为迫切需要解决的问题,尤其突出表现在英语课堂对于阅读的有效性实践方面。
