测量锥体小端直径通常采用的方法是:把工件放在平板上,选择两个相同直径的钢柱,放在工件的外侧(如图1);然后用千分尺量出M的大小,看它是否符合要求。M叫做测定值,预先根据已知的尺寸,按照下面的公式算出。 M=d+2R(1+ctg90°-а/2) 式中:d是锥体小端直径的理论值;α是圆锥斜角;R是钢柱的半径。由于α需耍计算到分以下多少秒,若用这个公式计算就非常麻烦。不仅耽误时间,而且容易出错。为了计算方便,经过我们多次研究,把上面的公式改成以下的形式,改进后的公式是这样的。
