半个世纪前,我曾在香港达德学院度过了短期工读生涯。今年6月28日,应香港中文大学之邀,重访达德旧址,下榻中大雅礼宾馆曙光楼。6月30日深夜,当我读完香港《文汇报》所载美国总统克林顿同北京大学学生对话的全文后就寝,已过12点,却夜不成寐,惦记着明天该一早起身,同中文大学两位博导叶汉明,蔡宝琼一同参予在会议展览中心金紫荆广场举行的香港回归一周年典礼。7月1日,晨曦初露,听电话声响,曙光楼下汽车声在催促了,我立即下楼。叶汉明老师递给我一块奶油蛋糕和一杯饮料,权充早餐,她对我说:“请带着‘八达通’(电卡乘车),七点半我们要赶乘湾仔地铁,你的特区通行证也要带在身上”。我们乘海底隧道到香港中区,但见各路前来参观
