讀了化学通报本年第一期发表的“二氧化硫法生产硫酸錳(NnSO_4)”一文后,我們有这样一种感觉,硫酸錳的性貭、用途及生产方法写得比較詳細,使读者能够系統地了解这方面的情况。但“硫酸錳貭量分析”,写得比較簡单,在某些方面尚有值得考虑的地方,特提出以便与原文作者商榷。該文因未将参考文献列入,故不知方法出处,据我們推想,大概是翻譯Rosin的著作,因有很多地方与之相同,如硫酸錳的測定,Rosin也是在氨性溶液中以过氧化氫沉淀錳,經过滤、洗滌,最后灼烧为Mn_3O_4。将获得的重量Mn_3O_4×1.980=MnSO_4。可是原文作者把它写为下式:
