国营益阳县兰溪渔场前些年因忽视科学养鱼,草鱼发病严重,成活率低,职工不敢多养草鱼,池塘养鱼效益不高。从1988年起,该场管委增强科技意识,发动养鱼户订阅《湖南水产》,并组织他们学刊用刊,发挥杂志效益,效果显著。1988年和1989年,他们两次学习《湖南水产》刊登的“灭活疫苗预防出血病真灵”、“请君使用草鱼免疫注射”两篇文章,照着去做,果真灵验。1989年推广免疫注射的16户,面积180亩,注射草鱼18720尾,成活率达91％,出塘草鱼1.7万公斤,产值8.5万元。1990年全场48户都进行免疫注
