After several decades of development the processing capacity of Chinese refineries has reached 276 million tons per year,ranking the fourth in the world. The refining industry has made great contribution to the growth of national economy in China.With changing times, especially after China’s accession to the WTO, significant changes have occurred in economy, politics and petroleum market both at home and abroad. The survival and growth of Chinese refineries has faced new challenges.
