生态语言学是由“生态学”和“语言学”两种独立的学科,相结合而产生的,它兴起的时间并不长,但是已经被广泛地应用于各个领域。英美文学教育是当前高校英语专业教育的重要课程之一,因为英美文学是英国和美国两国文学史和文化史的重要体现。将生态语言学与英美文学教育相结合是当前高校教育工作者面临的重要课题,笔者在本文中,阐述了生态语言学的内涵,且探究了生态语言学在高校英美文学教育中的应用。
Eco-linguistics is a combination of two independent disciplines, “Ecology” and “Linguistics”. It does not take long to emerge, but has been widely used in various fields. Anglo-American literary education is one of the important curricula of English major education in colleges and universities at present because Anglo-American literature is an important manifestation of the literary history and cultural history of Britain and the United States. The combination of ecological linguistics and Anglo-American literary education is an important issue facing college educators. In this paper, the author expounds the connotation of ecologists and explores the application of ecologists in English and American literary education in colleges and universities.
