随着当代艺术的兴起,新型材料以多种形式介入艺术,各种跨领域跨学科的艺术实践和探索,使传统艺术材料原本的功能已经不能够足够表达当下的艺术创作实践。因此,学界对艺术材料的定义与讨论又变成一个重要的流行话题。无疑,文化总是要以媒介来呈现,而艺术的表达也是通过媒介来产生,观众通过作品与艺术家的思想观念发生碰撞,也通过媒介材料的改变而发生。因此材料在艺术创作中体现出重要的价值,是文化传递的多重枢纽。
With the rise of contemporary art, new materials intervene in the arts in various forms. Various cross-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary artistic practices and explorations have made it impossible for the original functions of traditional art materials to express contemporary artistic practice. Therefore, the academic definition and discussion of art materials have become an important topic of pop. There is no doubt that culture is always presented in the medium, while the expression of art is produced through the medium. The audience collides with the ideas of the artists through the works, and the media materials change. Therefore, material in the artistic creation reflects an important value, is a multi-cultural transfer hub.
