From March to June 1989, we conducted a stool examination of three urban secondary schools and two rural primary and secondary school students in Daxian District of our city using the round-bottomed saturated brine floating method. Among them, there were 2583 urban students and 1070 intestinal nematode eggs positive, the positive rate was 42.6%.
