一,事故概况1990年3月27日清晨5点45分,我市桑植县氮肥厂变换工段一台82年安装使用的饱和热水塔在运行过程中突然发生爆炸,将热水塔3.3米高处炸开一个宽度为820mm,长度为(弧长)2100m的裂口。塔内填装的5米~3φ50×50×5mm瓷环全部从塔内冲出,冲出的瓷环最远处有500米左右,瓷环复盖面积约2 000米~2左右。不少厂房、宿舍门,窗被飞出的瓷环砸得百孔千疮,部分厂房、宿舍,附近居民住房房顶瓦片损坏严重。靠近该设备的压缩、碳化以及宿舍区的玻璃全部被震碎。爆破口边缘一块厚200mm,
