这次北京市九届四次人代会,北京日报、北京晚报关于大会的报道,及时、准确,内容丰富,有些短文还很生动,反映了记者勤奋的工作作风和较好的业务素质。总的说,关于这次大会的报道,是很成功的。但是,我以为记者在报道中还应该多掌握一些法律知识。现举数例说明。其一,4月18日北京日报《肩负一千万人民重托》中说:“昌平代表团一到会场,艾存义代表马上打电话给他的选区,传回他住的房间电话号码,告诉选民们,如有什么建议,会议期间可直接打电话来。”这位代表的作法是好的。但记者在文中用的“他的选区”是不妥当的。按照《选举法》的规定和本市的实际情况,包括艾存义代表在内的所有
