From December 12 to December 17, 2013, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to visit the Turkish Republic with the visit of the delegation of China’s Iraqi Society to Turkey. Turkey stretches across Eurasia, from the Balkans to the west, to the Caucasus to the east, to the Black Sea to the north and to the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Its mild climate, terrain and rich resources, from the coastal plains to mountain pastures, cedar forests to the rolling prairie, where the world’s most abundant plants, of which more than 3000 species are endemic to Turkey. Muslims make up 98% of Turkey’s population, but they are the rule of law and state separated from the state and religion. Market economy is the mainstay, and the economy has been growing rapidly in recent years. The capital is Ankara.
