看到报上刊载日本法务大臣永野发表的谈话:“南京大屠杀是捏造的。” (参见《光明日报》1994年5月5日第7版),时至今日,还有如永野这样的日本高级官员明目张胆地篡改历史,妄图开脱罪责,这不禁使我想起伯父梅汝璈来。他在抗战胜利后作为远东国际军事法庭的中国法官参加了东京审判,代表中国以大量确凿的证据,揭露了日军在中国(包括在南京)犯下的滔天罪行,并把日本战争罪魁、军国主义元凶一一送上了绞架。
