西藏电力学校是在西藏水电技工学校基础上于1993年9月正式成立并开始招生的,是全区目前唯一的一所工科类中等专业学校。现实行“三块牌子、一套班子”的管理办法,即融中专、技工、培训于一体,是一个多功能教培基地。 学校现开设“发变电电气设备运行与检修”“水电厂动力设备运行与检修”、“发电厂及电力系统”、“水电站动力设备”4个专业。在校生312人,现有教职工98名,其中专职教师57人,藏族教师占加70％,高级讲师1名,有中级职称的19人。学校占地面积72亩,建筑面积11055平方米,其中教学用建筑面积约4500平方米。截至1996年,学校共开设中专班5个,正规技工班、各类岗位
Tibet Electric Power School was established in September 1993 on the basis of Tibetan Hydropower Technical School and started enrollment. It is currently the only engineering secondary specialized school in the region. The practice of “three brands, a team” approach to management, that financial intermediary, mechanics, training in one, is a multi-functional teaching and training base. Schools are now open “power generation electrical equipment operation and maintenance”, “power plant operation and maintenance of power equipment”, “power plants and power systems”, “hydropower station power equipment” 4 professional. There are 312 students and there are 98 faculty and staff members, among whom 57 are full-time teachers, 70% are Tibetan teachers, 1 is senior lecturer and 19 are middle-level professional titles. The school covers an area of 72 mu, building area of 11,055 square meters, of which teaching construction area of about 4,500 square meters.
