概念隐喻理论是认知语言学的核心内容,它的发展得到了学者们的广泛关注,其影响及作用深远。在本篇论文中,作者首先概括论述了认知语言学的概念隐喻理论的主要内容。其次讨论了概念隐喻理论对英语教学的启发,它们分别为:概念隐喻对英语词汇教学,跨文化能力教学,阅读能力教学等方面的启发。概念隐喻运用于教学中可以提高学生的语言认知能力,培养学生的自主学习能力,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
The concept of conceptual metaphor is the core content of cognitive linguistics. Its development has drawn the widespread attention of scholars and its influence and far-reaching effect. In this dissertation, the author first summarizes the main contents of the conceptual metaphor theory of cognitive linguistics. Secondly, it discusses the enlightenment of conceptual metaphor theory on English teaching. They are respectively: the inspiration of conceptual metaphor on English vocabulary teaching, intercultural competence teaching and reading ability teaching. The application of conceptual metaphor in teaching can improve students’ cognitive ability of language, cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability and stimulate students’ interest in learning English.
