口腔颌面部感染病例在极端情况下也可致命。本文对台湾地区1996年来近3年口腔颌面部感染病例死亡情况作了研究。 材料和方法 所有人选的研究病例仅限于台湾地区63所医院,均因严重口腔颌面部感染而在口腔颌面外科或牙科住院,根据台湾地理位置将病例分为北、中、南和东等四个区。 结果 3年内因口腔颌面部感染而住院的病例总计2790例,分别为台湾北区11个科1239例,中区10个科834例,南区8个科501例,东区4个科
Oral and maxillofacial infections can also be fatal in extreme cases. This article studies the deaths of oral and maxillofacial infections in Taiwan in recent 3 years since 1996. Materials and Methods All selected study cases were limited to 63 hospitals in Taiwan. All were hospitalized in oral and maxillofacial surgery or dentistry due to severe oral and maxillofacial infection. According to the geographical location of Taiwan, the cases were divided into North, Central, South and East Four districts. Results A total of 2,790 hospitalized cases of oral and maxillofacial infections within 3 years were 1239 in 11 families in North Taiwan, 834 in 10 families in Central China, 501 in 8 families in South China, 4 families in Eastern Region
