抗战时期,驻重庆的外国记者上百名,分别来自合众社、塔斯社、路透社、美联社、德新社、哈瓦斯社、海通社、北美联合通讯社、美国全国广播公司等著名国际新闻通讯机构。为防轰炸,外国记者公寓设在南岸南山,按照他们的生活习惯,每日午后用车接到城内两路口原巴县中学校园内。那里是国民党中宣部国际宣传处驻地,操场上建了一排棚屋式简易房,供中外记者使用。国民党中宣部发言人在此发布信息,外国记者在此速记并转发世界各地。外国记者以美国记者最多,人数达40余名,包括有名的斯特朗、史沫特莱、爱泼斯坦等。本文谨简介其中几位在重庆的故事。
During the war of resistance against Japan, hundreds of foreign correspondents in Chongqing came from the famous international newsletters such as Hezhong News Agency, TASS, Reuters, AP, TISS, Havas, Haitong, North American Allied News Agency and NBC mechanism. In order to prevent bombing, foreign journalists’ apartments are located on the southern bank of Nanshan. According to their living habits, they take a daily car to the original Bamba Middle School on the two roads in the city. There was a resident of the International Propaganda Department of the Central Propaganda Department of the Kuomintang, and a row of shed-style simple houses was built on the playground for use by Chinese and foreign reporters. A spokesman for the Central Propaganda Department of the KMT released a message here that foreign reporters were shorthand and forwarded around the world. Foreign correspondents to the United States up to more than 40 reporters, including the famous Strong, Smedley, Epstein and so on. This article is about a few of them in Chongqing story.
