党的十六大是党的历史上一次极为重要的会议,它确定了中国共产党在新世纪之初的行动纲领和中国特色社会主义的走向。 政治路线确定以后,干部是决定因素。党的中央委员会及新的中央领导集体更是关键。一次划时代的、很成功的会议产生的创新理论和在这个理论指导下的政治路线,必须有一批深刻理解、真诚拥护、热情贯彻的干部去保证。
The 16th National Congress of the CPC is an extremely important meeting in the party’s history. It defines the program of action of the Chinese Communist Party at the beginning of this new century and the trend of socialism with Chinese characteristics. After the political line is established, cadres are the decisive factor. The Central Party Committee and the new central leadership are even more crucial. An innovative theory produced by an epoch-making and very successful conference and the political line under the guidance of this theory must have a cadre of pledges of profound understanding, sincere support and enthusiastic implementation.
