As the society progresses, the declining birth rate and average life expectancy have become global phenomena, which have led to the problem of population aging. According to the United Nations projections, the proportion of people over the age of 60 in the world will rise to 21.2% and 27.5% in 2050 and 2100, respectively, a nearly three times increase from the current rate. Japan’s population aging problem is more serious, while the emerging countries led by China are also generally faster than the developed countries.
