秦皇岛耀华玻璃厂全体职工在党和部、局的正确领导下,高举总路线的红旗,在1959年继续大跃进的基础上,以人不卸甲,马不停蹄的姿态跨进了1960年,在元旦打响了头一炮,实现了开门红,揭开了大战1960年的序幕.主要产品平板玻璃一月一日完成了日计划的108.3%,比1959年12月份全月平均日产水平提高了7.7%,玻璃管完成日计划119.2%,比1959年12月份全月平均日产水平提高23%,其它各项产品玻璃纤维、耐火材料,士法制碱,机械安装制造等也都实现了开门红.
