英语教师在英语教学中培养和提高学生的英语素质,应该在教学过程中利用科学的、创造性的教学模式和方法,使学生变被动学习为主动探索,变枯燥乏味为积极有趣,获得运用英语进行听、说、读、写的能力,尤其是口语表达能力和语言交际能力。同时,还应注重学生思想政治素质、思维能力、文化知识等培养与提高,在综合素质培养的过程中,提高学生的创新精神和实践能力。
English teachers should cultivate and improve students’ English qualities in English teaching.
