INTRODUCTION COMBAT EDGE is the USAF anti-G pressurized breathing system that is widely used on F-16s and will soon be used on F-15s. The next step will be to increase the effect of PBG on anti-G clothing (advanced anti-G clothing, or ATAGS) to improve anti-load protection efforts and increase lower limb coverage. This comprehensive anti-load proof test was performed by a fighter pilot volunteer in a centrifuge.
