刘云峰(1881-1950),河北蠡县人,爱国民主人士,国民政府陆军中将。生于蠡县王辛庄一个贫苦农民家庭。祖父刘岳华和父亲刘恒德长年以耕种为业。劳作之余,为了供给孩子们读书识字,还经常织土布换些零钱以维持生计。云峰自小天资聪慧,胸怀大志,学习成绩始终名列前茅,经常得到本村塾师的嘉奖,被族内长辈誉为可造之才。1894年中日甲午战争后,清王朝政府更加腐败,对外屈辱投降,丧权卖国;对内则残酷镇压,搜刮民财。致使神州大地生灵涂炭,民不聊生,激起了全国人民
