缺铁性贫血(IDA)是小儿常见的营养缺乏性疾病。主要发生于6个月~3岁的婴幼儿。IDA时出现蓝巩膜主要是由于胶原合成过程中缺是脯氨酸,赖氨酸羟化的一个重要辅助因子,而铁缺乏导致胶原合成障碍,使巩膜变薄,通过巩膜看到蓝色的脉络膜,从而使巩膜呈现蓝色。这一特征首先被Kalar所报告。现在许多临床医生也注意到这一特征。1996年8月~1998年2月笔者对儿保门诊225例婴幼儿进行调查,以探讨蓝巩膜与婴幼儿IDA的关系,现报告如下。 1 资料与方法 1.1 对象:在儿保门诊病人中随机选择6个月~3岁小儿225例,其中男性101例,女性124例,6个月~
Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is a common nutritional deficiency in children. Occurs mainly in 6 months to 3 years old infants. Blue sclera at IDA is mainly due to lack of proline and lysine hydroxylation in the process of collagen synthesis, while lack of iron leads to obstacles in collagen synthesis and make the sclera thinner. The blue choroid is seen through the sclera , So that the sclera appears blue. This feature was first reported by Kalar. Many clinicians are now aware of this feature. From August 1996 to February 1998, the author investigated 225 infants and children in child-care clinics to explore the relationship between blue sclera and infant IDA, the report is as follows. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 Subjects: 225 children aged 6 months to 3 years were randomly selected from child-care outpatient clinics, including 101 males and 124 females, 6 months ~
