Appropriate use of multimedia teaching methods in high school English teaching can produce a multiplier effect, inspire students’ interest and improve the effectiveness of English classroom teaching. I. Effectively Inspiring Learning Interests Students’ interest in learning plays a decisive role in consolidating their learning motivation and stimulating their enthusiasm for learning. Multimedia integrates sound, color, and text into one. It has a strong impact on students’ senses and vision. Students will be active in the classroom. They will become passive and take full advantage of their imagination and creativity. They will rush to answer questions and actively cooperate with the teacher.
