2004年7月19日,本刊在南京举办了第二次《外国文学动态》编委会会议。参加会议的编委14人,分别来自中国社科院外文所、译林出版社和《外国文学动态》编辑部。编委会会议在《外国文学动态》执行副主编苏玲的主持下进行。中国社科院外国文学研究所所长、《外国文学动态》前任主编黄宝生首先发言,在外国文学研究发展过程中起到了重要作用。但是,在新的社会形势下,刊物在信息量、作者队伍等方面仍有改进的余地。译林出版社社长、《外国文学动态》常务副主编章祖德首先表达对刊物一如既往的支持。他希望
On July 19, 2004, the magazine held the second editorial session of “Dynamic Trend of Foreign Literature” in Nanjing. The editorial board of 14 people, respectively, from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Foreign Languages, Yilin Press and “Foreign Literature” editorial department. The editorial board meeting was conducted under the auspices of Su Ling, executive editor of “Foreign Literary Trends”. Huang Baosheng, director of the Institute of Foreign Literature of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and former editor in chief of “Foreign Literary Trends”, first spoke and played an important role in the development of foreign literature.
