社会经济活动中，任何经济部门的变动都会对其它部门产生影响，部门之间存在着许多相互关系．因此，与经济发展相联系的地区需水量都需要考虑直接与间接的影响因素．本文即是在这一主导思想下进行的．通过投入产出方法的应用过程，重点研究现状和未来各经济部门的用水特点及其相互关系（直接的和间接的）．通过分析找出与山西严重缺水不相适应的经济发展所造成的问题，并定性提出合理的解决方法和途径．
In socio-economic activities, changes in any economic sector will have an impact on other sectors and there are many interdependencies among the sectors. Therefore, the regional water demand associated with economic development needs to consider the direct and indirect factors. This article is carried out under the guiding principle. Through the application process of the input-output method, we will focus on the status quo and the characteristics of water use in the various economic sectors in the future and their interrelationships (direct and indirect). Through analysis, we can find out the problems caused by the economic development that is not compatible with the serious water shortage in Shanxi Province, and put forward the reasonable solutions and approaches qualitatively.
