杨浦是上海面积最大、人口最多的中心城区,地处上海市区东北部,面积60.61平方公里,常住人口约132万,有着百年工业、百年大学、百年市政“三个百年”的历史底蕴。本世纪初,上海市委市政府作出建设杨浦知识创新区的重大决策,杨浦开始探索依托区域内高校带动城区发展之路,按照大学校区、科技园区、公共社区“三区融合,联动发展”的核心理念,全力推进“工业杨浦”向“知识杨浦”转型。2010年1月杨浦被科技部确定为国家首批创新
