Casablanca Specialized The First Middle East, North Africa Economic Summit was held from October 30 to November 1 in Casablanca, North Africa, Morocco. Government delegations from 61 countries and representatives of 1114 large companies gathered to discuss peace and development in the Middle East and North Africa region. Judging from the “Casablanca Declaration” adopted by the General Assembly, the conference is more effective, less practical and has limited results. But its significance is extraordinary.
