由于长期连作或施用除草剂的影响,使有些稻区莎草科中某些属的多年生植物迅速蔓延,水莎草juncellus serotinus就是其中之一。在北京郊区稻田中,虽未发现实生苗,采集的种子在适宜温度下培养也不发芽,但它却具有繁殖力极强的根茎和块茎,已成为难于防除的杂草。为了有效防除水莎草,特对其营养繁殖特性进行了一些观察。
