騰衛縣第一期農民訓練班後八月五日開學,經過十二天學習,十六日結業。爲訓練農協骨幹分子,在抽調學員時對成份很重視。吸收農村中受苦最深的貧、雇農及部分中農,並且比較積極和親自參加勞動的農民。但開學校後發現部分區、村領導上對學員選擇還不完全認真,以至有少數壤分子混入,經調查後都已除名。另外四十七個學員中,中農六人,共餘全是貧、雇農。學習的方式和内容:以訴苦敎育爲主要内容,包括訴苦、追根、算賬、决心計劃、學習西南區减租倏例和農協組織通則。訴苦開始時,大家有很多顧慮,情緒有些不安定,原因是對學習認識不清楚,在來受訓前,特務造謠,地方們就恐嚇說:“去不得,去了就是當兵,解放軍抓兵就是用這種方法。”因此,有的學員就顧慮怕訴苦以後,地主報復,也有少數學員想回家怕地主找麻煩。發現這些思想,就啟發討論和個別談話,揭發特務謠言,解除思想上的顧慮,一方面掌握積極分子發動帶頭訴苦。思想顧慮解除後,每個學員都盡悄地訴出自已親身遭到的痛苦和壓迫剝削。姓張的學員他三歲死了父親?日子沒法過,和母親去討飯,討到地主家門前,地主把大門一關,放出狗來亂咬。沒有住處住在山上或破廟裏,
