杜维明哈佛大学东亚语言与文明系教授.联合国推动文明对话杰出人士小组成员。1940年出生于昆明,自1996年出任哈佛燕京学社社长至今。他的研究以中国儒家传统的现代化为中心,被称为国际汉学界和新儒家的代表人物。
Du Weiming Professor of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University, member of the UN Panel of Outstanding Persons in Dialogue among Civilizations. Born in Kunming in 1940, he has been the president of Harvard Yenching Society since 1996. His research, centered on the modernization of Confucianism in China, is called the representative of international sinology and neo-Confucianism.
