《数学课程标准》中提到有效的数学活动不能单纯地依赖模仿与记忆,动手实践、自主探索与合作交流是学生学习数学的重要方式。由于学生所处的文化环境、家庭背景和自身的思维方式不同,因此,开展小组间的合作学习,能够实现优势互补,促进知识的建构,培养学生的合作意识,给每一个学生创造主动参与学习过程的机会,促进学生的个性发展。这种形式能充分体现教学民主,也能给予学生更多的自由活动时间和更多的互相交流的机会,是培养学生合作精神和激发学生创新意识的重要手段。
